Think research, planning, building, implementing, coaching and working cross-functionally! What You'll Be Doing Software Engineering Problem solving, experimentation and collaboration. You'll: Build and deliver AI-enabled software solutions from concept through to production Use AI-assisted development tools to improve software engineering and delivery Explore and implement agentic AI workflows and techniques for reliable automation Help engineering and product teams adopt AI-enabled development practices Develop reusable engineering approaches, examples and best practices Ensure solutions align with architectural patterns, coding standards and performance requirements Work across engineering, architecture, security, QA and platform teams Help teams understand both the capabilities and limitations of AI within software development Essential Criteria Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience 3+ years' commercial experience in Software Engineering (full-stack) Hands-on experience with AI-driven engineering tools, such as: Kiro / Amazon Q Developer GitHub Copilot Claude Code Cursor Compound Engineering or similar approaches/tools Experience with agentic AI workflows and steering techniques for reliable automation Strong OOP skills using Java, Python or C# Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP Strong understanding of software engineering standards, architecture and performance Must be permanently based in Northern Ireland with the relevant Right to Work Desirable Experience RAG architectures, embeddings and context management Docker and Kubernetes Software security best practices and compliance Automated testing frameworks and QA processes AWS certification or equivalent cloud certification Skills: Java Python C# Claude Kiro Copilot RAG Benefits: hybrid Bonus Pension Enhanced Leave Private Medical/Dental Life Assurance Critical Illness Cover TPBN1_NI
