What you will be doing?
- Design and develop highly performant, resilient, automated data pipelines and data transformation applications, adapting technologies for ingesting, transforming, classifying, cleansing, and exposing data using creative schema design to meet objectives.
- Transform, model, and organise data from diverse sources to enable accurate reporting, advanced analytics, and data-driven insights.
- Improve data quality and system performance by identifying issues, optimising architecture, and refining processes for reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with BI, finance, and cross-functional global teams to deliver robust, efficient, and scalable data solutions.
- Create and maintain clear documentation including configurations, specifications, test scripts, and project tracking materials.
- Contribute to agile processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and the advancement of engineering best practices.
What they are looking for:
- 3 years of experience with SQL knowledge.
- 3 years of experience with Java or Groovy languages.
- Experience in working within an Agile environment.
- Experience with cloud DW solutions and ELT/ETL solutions is also a plus (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, DBT etc.).
- Knowledge of Cloud Storage Concepts (S3, BLOB store, Oracle Bucket, etc.).
- Experience with Automation, including Unit and Integration Testing.
- Have a self-starter attitude, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, own deliverables end to end, prioritise workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- This individual must also work well under pressure to meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines within short time constraints.
