The role also involves contributing to test plans, improving test coverage, supporting regression and integration testing, and helping maintain quality standards.

Why This Role? You will be working in a collaborative environment which believes learning by asking questions is just as important as following instructions and guidelines. You will get great exposure working closely with Senior Testers which will see you sharpen your skills far greater than you would in other, less results driven environments.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Design, create, and maintain test cases and test scripts for enterprise-scale applications, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability across cloud platforms and custom solutions.
  • Executing manual and automated tests, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with Software Developers and Business Analysts.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies to refine requirements and test strategies.
  • Contribute to test plans, improving test coverage, supporting regression and integration testing, and helping maintain quality standards.

What You Will Have

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Have a basic understanding of software testing principles and the purpose of quality assurance within the software development lifecycle.
  • Understand the difference between expected behaviour and actual behaviour, and the importance of validating that software meets business and user expectations.
  • Some knowledge of Agile methodologies, sprint delivery and the software development lifecycle is beneficial.
  • Should be comfortable working with test management and defect tracking tools, with the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
  • Possess attributes such as strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and the ability to identify issues, document defects clearly, and provide accurate steps to reproduce problems.
  • Be able to understand the importance of recording test results, maintaining evidence and following agreed testing processes.
  • Able to understand user stories, acceptance criteria and basic requirements documentation and translate these into simple test scenarios and test cases.
  • A willingness to ask questions, seek clarification, and collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts and senior Testers is essential.
  • A willingness to continuously learn, accept feedback and improve your testing approach is essential.
  • Exposure to automation concepts, scripting, and tools such as Playwright is beneficial but can be developed over time with the right training and support.
