What You Will Be Doing
- Leading and supporting delivery of project and PMO services across public and private sector client contracts, including governance reporting, RAID logs, milestone tracking, and budget/burndown reporting.
- Conducting requirement gathering and business analysis directly with client stakeholders, running workshops, mapping current and future-state processes, and translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Producing client-ready reporting and governance artefacts, including steering committee packs, status reports, and executive-level updates, to a standard suitable for sophisticated public and private sector audiences.
- Own day-to-day operation of project and portfolio management (PPM) systems, configuring projects, maintaining data quality, and producing reporting outputs from the toolset in use.
- Supporting bid and proposal development with project planning, work breakdown structures, delivery methodology input and resourcing assumptions.
- Building and sustaining strong working relationships with client stakeholders across regulated public sector bodies and private sector organisations.
What You Will Have
- 5+ years experience in project or programme management roles, with direct, hands-on involvement in business analysis activity as well.
- Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder facilitation skills, with experience running workshops and producing structured requirements, process maps, or business cases.
- Track record of producing governance reporting (RAID logs, status reports, steering committee packs, or equivalent) to a standard appropriate for senior or executive stakeholders.
- Experience delivering within a public sector or commercially regulated contract environment.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements and shifting priorities in a fast-paced consultancy environment.
- Experience in regulated sectors such as utilities, healthcare or financial services is advantageous.
