Graduate / Junior FPGA Engineer in Belfast

Our client, an established technology company, is looking for a Graduate or Junior FPGA Engineer to join its growing R&D team and contribute to the development of high-performance electronic products. What will you be doing? Developing FPGA designs using VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog. Integrating IP, embedded processors, memory and digital interfaces. Supporting signal and data-processing implementations. Creating testbenches and assisting with simulation, timing analysis and verification. Testing designs on hardware and debugging technical issues. Collaborating with electronics and embedded-software engineers. What do you need? A degree, HND or equivalent experience in electronics, computer engineering or a related subject. Some FPGA or digital-design experience gained through university, placements, employment or personal projects. Familiarity with an FPGA development tool and at least one HDL. A good understanding of digital electronics and an enthusiasm for practical problem-solving. Any academic, placement or personal-project experience involving timing constraints, embedded programming, signal processing or digital interfaces would be helpful, but it is not essential.
