Shillito Group are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to join a well established precision engineering business in Staveley. This is a solid opportunity for someone who knows their way around CNC milling or turning machines, understands quality, and takes pride in producing accurate work without needing their hand held every five minutes.

You'll be working with Fanuc‑controlled machinery manufacturing precision components for a growing engineering operation that's investing in both its people and equipment.

The Role:
  • Setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Carrying out offsets and basic program edits
  • Using measuring equipment including verniers and micrometers
  • Producing components to tight tolerances and high‑quality standards
  • Working closely with the wider production team to hit targets safely and efficiently
What We're Looking For:
  • Ability to read engineering drawings confidently
  • Previous CNC Operator experience
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Reliable, hardworking attitude
