Are you an experienced Service Engineer with a background in machine tools, CNC machinery, or industrial manufacturing equipment, looking to join a market-leading engineering organisation that partners with some of the UK's most recognised manufacturers? This is an opportunity to join a highly established machine tool specialist supporting blue-chip customers across aerospace, automotive, defence, and advanced manufacturing sectors. Working with globally recognised clients you will play a key role in delivering technical support on advanced CNC and machine tool systems. The business is recognised for its investment in engineering capability, offering structured manufacturer training, ongoing technical development, and clear progression routes into senior specialist and technical support positions.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of high-value machine tool equipment across customer sites throughout Northern England and Scotland. You will receive extensive training on specialist machinery and control systems, developing into a multi-skilled technical expert within a growing and forward-thinking engineering business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of CNC and machine tool equipment
  • Electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis and repair
  • Preventative maintenance and breakdown response at customer facilities
  • Supporting customers within aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, and manufacturing environments
  • Travelling to customer sites across the North of England and Scotland with fully expensed travel and accommodation
  • Delivering high standards of customer service and technical support

  • Customer-facing engineering experience preferred
