Shillito Group are recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a growing precision engineering business. This is a days-based role offering stability, long-term progression, and the opportunity to work on high spec components in a clean, well run environment.
The Role
- Program, set and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc / Manual Guide
- Machine high-precision components to tight tolerances
- Work with a range of materials including stainless steel, titanium and specialist alloys
- Carry out first off and in process inspection
- Select tooling, speeds and feeds to optimise performance
- Take ownership of jobs from start to finish
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller in a precision environment
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Ability to program, set and operate independently
- Confident working to tight tolerances and complex drawings
- Proactive approach with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Offline programming experience would be advantageous (Fusion 360)
