This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on the event side of marketing, planning, organising, and ensuring the seamless delivery of each event! The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, identifying, and executing impactful local marketing events aimed at boosting brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and building strong relationships within the local community.
Please note, this role includes occasional weekend work during peak event seasons, with two days off provided during the week in lieu.
Responsibilities:- Plan and coordinate a variety of events and initiatives.
- Create engaging content to promote events across social media platforms, while monitoring and responding to inquiries and feedback.
- Develop and implement impactful event plans and marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends to inform strategy and innovation.
- Identify new opportunities through emerging marketing strategies.
- Manage event marketing budgets and resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Track, analyse, and report on key marketing and event metrics to measure campaign success and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with local businesses and organisations to enhance brand visibility and strengthen community involvement.
- At least 2 years' experience in marketing and events coordination.
- Confident with photography and videography.
- Strong understanding of Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Exceptionally organised with great attention to detail.
- A team player with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
