Adept Resourcing is recruiting for a Management Accountant to support a confidential client in the manufacturing sector, based in Sheffield. This role reports to the Group Finance Director and oversees a small finance team, playing a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Manage month-end and year-end reporting processes
- Complete VAT returns and submissions
- Forecast cash flow and manage financial planning
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Oversee purchase and sales ledger activity
- Manage credit control and cash reconciliation
- Prepare accruals and prepayments schedules
- Support stock management reporting
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support finance strategy
Requirements:
- QBE/ Part Qualified, or Qualified
- Experience in a similar finance role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines accurately
- Team management experience desirable
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
