Adept Resourcing Commercial Division are recruiting an experienced Estimator to join our client based in Derbyshire. The successful candidate will have working knowledge and experience in secondary steel, chimneys and ducting. Ideally, you will have worked in renewable energy, MOD and nuclear industries. As the experienced Estimator, you will be report to the Sales Director, working in a busy, fast-paced company who are going through significant, continuous growth. Responsibilities include: Measuring and qualifying materiel from engineer drawings/specifications Developing cost estimates Producing quotations, pricing and tender bids Establishing budgets for the commercial and project teams Liaising with clients at each step in the process, keeping them informed at all times Service improvement techniques and processes Skills, experience and attributes: Previous experience in an Estimating role Understanding of technical drawings, construction methods, and engineering principals Industry experience within structural steel or metalwork industry Good market knowledge Excellent communication skills Microsoft Office skills are essential Additional information: Salary – £35k-50k DOE 28 holidays Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm At Adept Re…
