We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Project Coordinator to support site safety operations for commercial building projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations while working closely with project teams and contractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement workplace safety procedures at construction sites
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox meetings, and safety briefings
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety requirements and company policies
- Monitor site activities and report safety and project progress to management
- Supervise site workers to promote safe work practices
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel on safety matters
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, incident reports, and follow-up actions
- Liaise with Mandarin-speaking main contractors on safety and project coordination
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in construction site safety or related roles
- Experience in commercial building projects is required
- WSH Coordinator Certificate or equivalent recognised qualification
- Familiarity with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
- Good organisational, communication, and problem‐solving skills
- Willingness to work on construction sites and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
