About the role
Our Care Assistants are an important part in our residents' day‐to‐day lives. With Adept help you will offer emotional and physical support to our residents while assisting with meal times, personal care, leisure activities and much more. You are expected to be seen as an extension of the resident's family by treating them with the same kindness and compassion that you would treat your own loved‐ones.
Responsibilities
Support residents with meal times, personal care, hygiene and medication regimes.
Assist with leisure activities and promote an engaging daily routine.
Provide companionship and emotional support, ensuring a safe and friendly environment.
Work with mentors and managers to support residents with dementia where required.
Qualifications and experience
Previous care or hospitality experience (desirable).
Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
Positive and caring attitude (essential).
Training and development
You will receive a thorough induction via an experienced mentor, plus both online and face‐to‐face training throughout your career at Adept Care. Our Training Manager and Dementia Manager are happy to arrange additional training to help you reach your full potential.
Benefits and compensation
Salary of £12.85 per hour.
Choose between 22 to 44 hours a week (or more if you wish).
Day shifts: 07:00 – 19:00.
