About the role
- 40 hours per week

- 5 days a week
- Alternate Weekend Work Required
Responsibilities include:
- Plan, prepare and cook varied meals which are nutritious and appealing and centred around residents' preferences or requirements
- Implement, monitor and maintain cleaning schedules that meet HACCP Manual requirements and ensure all areas of the kitchen are immaculate
- Organise and order food deliveries with approved suppliers
- Responsible for kitchen equipment and ensuring it is in full, safe working order
- Budget responsibilities
- Stock management and completion of audits
- Planning and management of staff rotas
- Understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements including COSHH and HACCP
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous Care Home experience (desirable)
- Available to work Mon-Fri and alternate weekends
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Positive and caring attitude (essential)
