Relief Care Home Manager

40 hours per week

£53,344 pa

Adept Care homes provide residential care and residential dementia care in our family-run, Midlands-based care homes. We help our residents to lead enriched, happy, and fulfilled lives, supported by a friendly, caring team.

We are recruiting a Relief Home Manager to support our homes within the group where there is a manager absence due to a vacancy, leave or sickness. You will also be required to support and mentor new managers and those who are experiencing operational challenges. You may also be asked to assist with specific projects in the homes and to meet the needs of the business.

Our Relief Manager will work across our sites based in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Redditch and Burbage.

Responsibilities

What we are looking for:

• 3 years + Care Home Management experience (Essential)
• NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care (Essential)
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a care environment is required
• Own car required and business miles paid
• Requirement to be on-call
• Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Positive and caring attitude (essential)

This role will include extensive travel to our seven sites as a result driving license and own vehicle is essential for this role. Sites are based in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Redditch and Burbage.
