Adept Care Homes provide residential care and residential dementia care in our family-run, Midlands-based care homes. We help our residents to lead enriched, happy, and fulfilled lives, supported by a friendly, caring team. You will be joining the team at Kiwi House, a luxury 78 bed care home in Alvaston, Derby offering high-quality residential and dementia care.

Responsibilities

  • As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our kitchen.
  • You will support our chefs in preparing and delivering delicious, nutritious meals to our residents, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Contribute to a close-knit team in a rewarding and fulfilling environment.

What we are looking for

  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
  • Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic food preparation, stock control and rotation
  • Positive and caring attitude (essential)
