Overview
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Full-Time Maintenance Operative to join our team.
Working with the Maintenance Lead, the post will support all aspects of the preventative and reactive maintenance needs of the home.
Good DIY skills and an ability to complete tasks to a high standard are essential.
The role also requires you to undertake some caretaking duties.
Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential.
Responsibilities
- Support preventative and reactive maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Lead.
- Perform general maintenance tasks to high standards and maintain safety and cleanliness of the home.
- Undertake caretaking duties as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and residents as needed.
What we offer
- Full time 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with alternate weekends on call cover
Requirements and preferences
- Good verbal and written communication skills; reliable, flexible, and approachable; able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Full DBS check (disclosure and barring service) required.
- Own transport is essential.
