Overview
Adept Care homes provide residential care and residential dementia care in our family-run, Midlands-based care homes. We help our residents to lead enriched, happy, and fulfilled lives, supported by a friendly, caring team.
You will be joining the team at Chetwynd House a luxury 75-bed care home, offering high-quality residential and dementia care.
Role
As a Care Team Leader you will assist the Care Home Management Team while leading and supervising the care team to ensure personalized, high-quality care for residents. You will conduct various audits, maintain accurate records, oversee the keyworker system, and provide flexible support by completing care shifts as needed. Your role involves coordinating with healthcare professionals, managing medication, performing regular quality checks, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will foster a welcoming environment for residents, relatives, and staff while maintaing confidentiality, participating in team meetings, and be a champion of Adept’s vision of creating a superb place to live and work.
Our team receive on-going training and development from our dedicated Training Manager and Lifestyle & Dementia Manager who offer everything from online training to classroom-based sessions and 1:1 mentoring. What we are looking for
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (essential)
- Previous Senior Care Assistant experience (essential)
- Extensive experiance in Dementia Support & Care
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
