The Role: We are recruiting for a high level Senior Quantity Surveyor or MQS to join our consultancy to facilitate the growth of our business as well as delivering a high-end service to our clients. In the first instance, you will be assigned to a project we have covering the North West and surrounding areas, which is for a Water Framework. There will be flexibility with this client as it will be within a hybrid model. Once this project comes to an end, your future projects will be in the civils space and likely with Tier 1 Main Contractors.
Flexible working will be possible, but this will change from project to project subject to the clients' wishes and your delivery. Water experience is preferred but not essential as long as you can demonstrate experience within the civils space.
Responsibilities:
- Civils sector experience preferable
- Desire to work in a hybrid role
- Full UK driving licence
- NEC experience
- Consultancy experience desired but certainly not essential
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Understanding of tendering and procurement processes would be a great asset
- Presentable and articulate
- Excellent organiser with proven time management skills
- Commercial acumen
