Responsibilities
- Preparation of contract budgets and cash flows
- Control of sub contract accounts including :
- Measuring of sub‑contractors work Checking sub contractor’s submissions
- Preparation of final accounts
- Quantification and evaluation of variations
- Preparation of cost and value reconciliations
- Attend site meetings
- Preparation of material schedules
- Preparation of monthly valuations
- Liaise with MQS on claims issues
- Be totally familiar with the client brief and act in accordance with that
- Undertake jobs and responsibilities in a professional and business‑like manner
- Honour client and Adeo business confidentialities
- To manage a small team of QS’s.
- To carry out appraisals with the MQS or appropriate line manager
Requirements
- Have a minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor before you can be considered for a Senior QS position.
- Demonstrated that you are able to manage medium sized projects independently (1 - 5 million).
- Able to produce a report of actual performance (CVR’s) against budget on projects.
- Able to maximise reclaimable value on a project.
- Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on own initiative
- Excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to encourage and support junior members of the team.24 days holiday + Bank holidays!
