Adelphi Real World is a global consultancy in healthcare. We collect and interrogate real world data to aid the pharmaceutical industry in understanding the management and treatment of specific diseases. This understanding informs the successful development of pipeline assets and the positioning of inline products. Real world data can also be used to leverage Health Outcomes / Economic argumentation through statistically validated publications.
This is a new role within ARW and requires the creation of various tracking/logging systems to support and manage ethical approval applications, translation queries, and the fieldwork data collection process (from initial fieldwork agency briefings to data completion) across multiple Disease Specific Programmes (DSPs). Gaining a good understanding of all stages within the research process and a basic knowledge of research techniques. The role may lead to the support of other operational aspects of the research process.
Accountabilities:
- ETHICS AND TRANSLATIONS
- Acquire ethical approval for projects prior to fieldwork including form completion and internal checks
- Assist teams with fieldwork translation queries
- FIELDWORK AGENCY & IN-FIELD TASKS
- Arrange and manage “set-up meeting” with relevant fieldwork partners
- Daily monitoring and interaction with fieldwork partners
- Tracking project timelines and deadlines
- Maintaining various project and office logs
- Pro-actively manage & control day-to-day fieldwork processes
- Reviewing uploaded patient questionnaires to confirm these are completed correctly for processing
- Report fieldwork status to multiple internal leads & teams
- Providing ad hoc administrative support as needed
- Resolving issues to improve the long-term fieldwork process
- OTHER POTENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES
- Reviewing DECs prior to fielding
- Checking codeframe’s
- Checking “others” report’s
- Checking/exporting DECS
Key Skills:
- Proactive and highly self-motivating approach to work.
- A high level of interpersonal skills and working as a team player.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to multi-task & manage numerous studies.
- Great communication skills both verbally and in written word.
- Confidence to talk to international fieldwork partners on the phone.
- Willing to have tough conversations with agencies and project teams throughout fieldwork when necessary.
Experience:
- Preferably at least 2 years working in an office environment.
- Experience of managing multiple internal stakeholders.
- Basic PowerPoint, Excel, Word are essential.
