Job Description:

Head of Data& Analytics

The Head of Data& Analyticsis responsible forleading and managing the Data department. This involves growing revenue and improving profitability within its existingcapabilities, andidentifyingincrementalrevenue growth and capability development opportunities. This role isultimately responsiblefor embedding a data & effectiveness culture throughout Hearts, through positive, productive collaboration with other leaders across the business.

Keyresponsibilities

  • Grow and evolve the data department at Hearts & Science, driving revenue& profitgrowth and development of capabilities
  • A detailed commercial understandingand consistent trackingof all financial aspects of the team includingrevenues, costs(onshore and offshore), profitability, technology costs and other overheads
  • Set the strategic direction for the data team, and bring that vision to life through inspirational leadership and attentive, effective people management
  • Identifyblockers to individual progression within the team and find solutions
  • Oversee the effectiveness andtimelydevelopment of bespoke products and tools tomaintainHearts' market differentiation
  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor and helpingidentifycustom solutions on all things data and measurement
  • Represent Hearts' dataexpertisetothe wider industry
  • Leadthe data & measurement response in new business pitches
  • Champion a positive, collaborative cultureacross the business to help embed effectiveness throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Understand and consider the needs and challenges of other areas of the business - not just data - to the benefit of the development of that function and the agency as a whole
  • Anticipate future state of our business and our clients',identifyingand leading solutions to make us future-ready
  • Actively lead and collaboratewith other members of SLTon agency workstreams, acting as a champion for change and transformationwith resilience and influence
  • Contribute to the company change agenda around DEIB
