Overview
Adelphi is seeking highly qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologists to provide specialized speech language pathology services to students for a school district located in Lancaster, South Carolina. The Speech Language Pathologists will be responsible for providing a wide range of speech language pathology services tailored to the unique needs of these students, including assessment, intervention and consultation with parents, teachers and other relevant stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Attend staff, IEP, 504, multidisciplinary, and other district-related meetings as needed.
- Participate with the district and parents in eligibility staffing and IEP meetings.
- Complete evaluation reports and develop IEPs using the district’s online IEP system.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals for a caseload of 30 students.
- Complete encounter logs for all services within 24 hours of delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and departmental records in compliance with FERPA and district policies.
- Comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and all applicable regulations.
- Maintain continuity of services through consistent or qualified substitute therapists.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
- Active South Carolina SLP License through the SC LLR Board.
- South Carolina Educator License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA.
- School-based experience preferred.
