Job description Hours : 9am – 5pm and 2pm finish on Fridays Location : Winsford We\’re working with a fantastic manufacturing business in Winsford that\’s looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment. Summary and purpose of position: To provide full operational support to the Head of Finance and the Finance Department by carrying out duties as required ensuring achievement of the Department/Company functions, objectives and deadlines. Also acting as deputy in the absence of the Head of Finance, supporting the senior management team. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts. Manage the credit control function – responsible for the reconciliation of Customer accounts, chasing and allocation of cash payments, resolving issues with overdue invoices and liaising with the Quality/Sales/Logistics Departments to resolve debit note queries. Prepare and process monthly journals including for stock, depreciation, loan interest, prepayments, accruals, maintenance spares and tooling.
