We are currently looking to recruit for an Accounts Assistant on a 6 month contract for our client based in Bolton. This role is to support and aid the finance function, primarily aiding the purchase ledger, sales ledger and reconciliations whilst completing other finance tasks, initially on a 6 month contract with an immediate start. The role will involve: Purchase Ledger Management 3-way matching of material invoices Posting of admin invoices Filing of invoices Processing weekly payment runs Managing review of courier bill charges Reviewing of bills Vs list price of products, identifying discrepancies Managing credit accounts/payment terms and discount reviews Sales Ledger Management Managing debt chasing and debt collection Allocating debt receipts and cash collection Credit limit request management and reviews for new and existing customers Refund processing and reviews Conducting regular VAT and transaction testing on UK/EU and USA transactions to ensure correct VAT is being collected Weekly Cash and Merchant Reconciliations This role would suit someone either immed…
