An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a successful and well-established organisation based in Chirk. This standalone position offers the opportunity to take ownership of the HR function across a workforce of approximately 100 employees. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide both operational and strategic HR support, helping to drive employee engagement, wellbeing, compliance and organisational effectiveness. This role would suit an experienced HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner who enjoys working autonomously whilst building strong relationships across all areas of a business.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding
- Providing advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management cases
- Developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice
- Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
- Coordinating learning and development activities
- Producing HR reports and management information
- Supporting payroll-related administration and employee benefits
- Partnering with managers to support business objectives and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a standalone HR Manager, Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Strong employee relations and employment law knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Experience within an operational environment would be advantageous
