We are looking to recruit an experienced Personal Tax Senior to take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients within a well-established and growing practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident managing their own portfolio while also gaining exposure to wider tax work, including corporation tax compliance and advisory projects.

Working closely with the Tax team, you will play a key role in delivering a high level of client service, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring all compliance work is completed accurately and on time.

The role:

  • Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients from onboarding through to completion
  • Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships
  • Provide advice on income tax and capital gains tax matters, with some exposure to inheritance tax
  • Liaise with HMRC and handle client queries effectively

About you:

  • ATT / CTA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Minimum of five years' experience in personal tax within practice
  • Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance (income tax and capital gains tax essential)
  • Experience managing your own portfolio of clients
  • Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with a good level of autonomy
