Adele Carr Recruitment has partnered with a well-established international manufacturing and distribution business to recruit an experienced Accounting Manager to join their growing UK finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional looking for a varied role with real responsibility.
You'll lead a small finance team while taking ownership of the day-to-day finance function, supporting the wider business with accurate financial reporting, cashflow management and commercial insight. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, supporting operational managers and ensuring the finance function runs efficiently.
The Role
- Preparing monthly management accounts and leading the month-end close process
- Managing accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing WIP reporting, KPI reports and financial analysis
- Preparing and monitoring daily and weekly cashflow forecasts
- Managing banking activities and overseeing supplier payments
- Supervising the sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control functions
- Preparing VAT returns
