Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Payable Assistant
Location: Runcorn
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Adele Carr is currently recruiting a highly professional and personable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a successful and expanding business based in Runcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a finance team, managing supplier accounts and ensuring efficient invoice processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing a high volume of purchase invoices
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparing payment runs and remittances
- Communicating with suppliers to resolve any queries
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience using SAP or similar accounting systems is a plus
