Senior HR Advisor

We are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor to join a growing and fast-paced organisation, providing expert HR support across the business while partnering closely with senior stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing operational HR with strategic input, managing complex employee relations matters and driving continuous improvement across HR processes.
The Role
Reporting into the Head of HR, you will work as part of a collaborative HR team, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across the business
- Provide commercially focused HR advice on complex people matters
- Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues
- Lead investigations and support managers with fair and balanced decision-making
- Coach managers to improve confidence and capability in handling people matters
- Oversee payroll administration processes and ensure accuracy of submissions
- Review payroll changes, identifying anomalies and compliance risks
- Support the development and continuous improvement of HR processes and procedures
- Help embed governance, structure and best practice across the HR function
- Provide guidance and support to junior HR team members where required
About You
- Previous experience within a Senior HR Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Proven experience managing complex employee relations cases independently
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and influencing decisions
- Experience supporting or overseeing payroll processes
- Pragmatic, solutions-focused and commercially aware approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
