A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a hands-on, commercially minded Financial Controller to join a commercial business based in the heart of Manchester. This is a new part-time role, ideal for a qualified finance professional who enjoys working within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where their input directly shapes performance, process, and profitability.
The Role
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll take full ownership of the day-to-day finance function while supporting the business through its next phase of growth and expansion. You'll combine strong technical accounting skills with strategic foresight to help guide financial decisions, manage cash flow, and ensure smooth financial operations.
Immediate responsibilities will include:
- Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Issuing invoices (both recurring and one-off)
- Payroll management
- Supplier management and payments
- Credit control and cash collection
- Preparing quarterly VAT returns

- Cashflow forecasting
