Insolvency Manager
Liverpool | £35,000-£45,000 DOE | 30 Days' Holiday | Study Support
Are you an experienced insolvency professional looking for more varied and interesting corporate casework?
We're recruiting an Insolvency Manager to join a well-established Liverpool team. You'll manage a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment through to closure, including assignments involving large owner-managed businesses and corporate clients.
With no bank-panel work, this is an opportunity to gain broader exposure, take greater ownership of your cases and continue developing within a supportive team.
The Role
As Insolvency Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases
- Handling cases from initial appointment through to closure
- Preparing statutory reports and case documentation
- Liaising with company directors, creditors and professional advisers
- Conducting investigations and ensuring statutory deadlines are met
- Supporting senior colleagues with larger and more complex assignments
- Reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members
- Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring regulatory compliance
What We're Looking For
You'll need:
- Previous experience managing corporate insolvency cases
- Strong knowledge of insolvency procedures and statutory requirements
- Excellent organisation and case-management skills
- Confidence communicating with directors, creditors and professional advisers
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- CPI qualification, current CPI studies or an interest in beginning the qualification
