A high-growth, fast-paced manufacturing business is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Finance Director to lead and evolve its financial control and reporting function. This is a key leadership appointment for a qualified finance professional with deep manufacturing sector experience and a proven track record operating within complex, multi-site environments.

The successful candidate will combine technical excellence with strong commercial judgement, leadership capability and the gravitas to influence at Executive and Board level.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the CFO, you will take ownership of the Group's financial reporting, control environment, audit process and technical accounting framework, ensuring the business continues to operate with the highest standards of financial integrity and governance. You will play a pivotal role in driving process improvement, strengthening controls, supporting acquisition integration activity and developing a high-performing finance team within a dynamic and evolving business environment.

About You

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

  • Proven experience operating in complex, fast-moving businesses
  • Background within private equity-backed, acquisitive or transformational environments would be advantageous
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Board level
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a strong controls mindset
  • Demonstrable experience improving reporting quality, controls and finance processes
