A leading manufacturing business based in Knutsford is seeking a Finance Leader to take ownership of its finance function and join its Senior Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial strategy of a business aiming to be best in class worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own all financial operations, controls, and compliance

• Lead month-end close and management accounts

• Build and maintain a rolling 12-month forecast

• Track and analyse order intake, income, margin, overheads and EBIT

• Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to turn insight into action

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes

• Oversee payroll, tax, VAT, statutory reporting, audit and ERP transition

• Develop and mentor a highly experienced team member

What We're Looking For:

• Fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

• Experience in a financial leadership role within manufacturing

• An understanding of the complexities of working in a global business

• Strong grip on controls, reporting and compliance

• Commercial mindset and ability to create clarity from complexity

• Personable, hands-on approach with high resilience and curiosity

• Able to wear multiple hats and thrive in a senior, visible role
