Financial Controller

Adele Carr Recruitment is proud to be partnering exclusively with a growing, family-owned manufacturing business in Liverpool, who are keen to appoint a talented and driven Financial Controller on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a key leadership role – ideal for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who is ready to step up and progress towards Finance Director level. You\’ll report directly to the Managing Director and board and play a pivotal part in the senior leadership team, taking full ownership of the finance department in a hands-on, commercially focused environment.

You\’ll lead and develop a small finance team, delivering accurate and timely management information, strengthening financial controls and providing commercial insight to support continued business growth. With ongoing investment and a new ERP system implementation on the horizon, this is a genuine opportunity to make your mark in a dynamic, expanding SME.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, ensuring best practice and a culture of accountability.
• Produce monthly management accounts with full commentary and cash flow forecasts
• Provide proactive financial support and challenge to the senior stakeholders.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting (including year-end audit).
