We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and approachable Family Law Paralegal to join a well-established and growing team based in Huyton. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about family law and committed to supporting clients through often challenging circumstances.

The Role

You will be working within a busy and supportive team, assisting on a varied caseload of Public and Private Law matters, with a strong focus on Legal Aid work. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting a solicitor with case management
  • Conducting client meetings
  • Drafting Part 25 and C2 applications
  • Ensuring compliance with Court directions
  • Managing administrative and procedural aspects of files

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience as a Family Law Paralegal working on Legal Aid cases (essential)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to communicate with empathy and professionalism
  • A proactive, positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • The ability to work effectively within a team

You will be approachable, grounded, and genuinely motivated to provide excellent client care.

Systems Support

You will be working in a modern, well-supported environment using:

  • Leap case management system
  • Zylpha
  • Speechwrite 360 (voice recognition dictation)
  • Microsoft Office

Legal assistants provide typing and proofreading support, allowing you to focus on fee-earning and case progression.
