An global business with a high-performing finance team based in the heart of Lancashire have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant.

This organisation has exceptional staff retention levels - many of their finance team have worked for the business for 10+ years.

This is initially offered on an 18 month contract basis, although given the direction of business, there is longer term potential.

This role offers real diversity and exposure to high level decision makers, reporting to the Group Finance Director. Specifics of the role include:

  • Financial reporting and consolidations for a multi-entity group
  • Intercompany and balance sheet management
  • Lead month end close, including journals, reconciliations and variance analysis

This would suit an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant, ideally practice trained with strong financial reporting experience and knowledge of IFRS.

As you will be liaising closely with senior internal and external stakeholders strong communication skills are also required.
