Join a growing and fast-paced business based in Alderley Edge as a Payroll Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a dynamic and supportive environment where you'll play a key role in ensuring payroll runs smoothly across a multi-brand group.
The Role:
You'll be joining a small, friendly team within HR, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager. With around 1,000 employees across multiple monthly payrolls - and further growth on the horizon - this is a hands-on, busy role with lots of variety.
Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end processing of monthly payrolls

Administering pensions, expenses, RTI submissions, and year-end activities

Ensuring payroll compliance with statutory requirements including PAYE, NIC, and Auto-Enrolment

Liaising with internal teams and third parties to resolve queries and support audit requirements

Supporting the continued improvement of payroll processes and systems
About You:

Strong end-to-end payroll experience

Confident using Sage 50 (or similar)

Experience handling RTI, year-end submissions, pensions, and reconciliations

Excellent attention to detail and time management

Able to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Salary & Benefits:
Up to £32,000 depending on experience, plus a range of great benefits including meals, social events, Perkbox, employee assistance programme, pension contributions, and more.
