Adele Carr Recruitment is currently working with a well-established organisation in Liverpool to recruit an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager for a busy Shared Service Centre environment. This is a key role responsible for leading a high-volume Accounts Receivable function, ensuring efficient billing, cash allocation, and credit control processes across multiple business units. The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving cash collection performance, reducing aged debt, and ensuring SLA/KPI targets are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Receivable Operations
    • Oversee end-to-end Accounts Receivable processes including billing, cash allocation, and credit control
    • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing in line with agreed contracts and SLAs
    • Maintain standardised AR processes aligned with Shared Service Centre procedures
  • Cash Collection Debt Management
    • Drive cash collection activity across multiple customer portfolios
    • Manage escalation of complex or high-value accounts
    • Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve payment disputes and queries
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise, support, and develop Accounts Receivable team members
    • Set clear performance objectives and monitor KPIs
    • Support ongoing training and development within the team
  • Query Resolution Cash Allocation
    • Ensure effective query management to minimise delays in payment
    • Oversee accurate allocation of incoming payments
    • Perform and review bank reconciliations
    • Ensure disputes are resolved efficiently and professionally
  • Reporting Performance Management
    • Produce regular AR performance reporting including DSO, aged debt, and overdue analysis
    • Monitor KPIs and identify areas for improvement
    • Provide insight and reporting to senior stakeholders
    • Support continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and efficiency
