Adele Carr Recruitment are exclusively partnering with a UK wide, market leading client with reference to a Management Accountant opportunity.
The newly created role will work closely with the qualified and experienced Financial Controller and there will be the opportunity to progress over a period of time.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Completion of the monthly management accounts for the business working alongside the accounts team, reporting within a 7-day window after month end.
- Generating the monthly payroll for the business and send over all submissions through the government gateways.
- Payroll administration - ensure new starters and leavers being processed correctly and tax codes/bank details updated as required.
Administer the holiday/absence system as required.
- Review the VAT position and reconcile the VAT return, submissions to be made once a quarter to HMRC.
- Managing the accounts team by reviewing ledgers and the balance sheet reconciliation process.
- Organise and review the processes in place for the team.
- Ensure payment runs are being raised in a timely manner and prepared for review and sign off by the Managing Director.
- Yearly P11d creation and submissions to be made for employees.
- Support during the year end audit once a year.
