Our client, a well-established and esteemed accountancy firm, is currently seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. This role presents fantastic progression opportunities for candidates who are part or fully AAT qualified or studying ACCA/ACA, or those with equivalent experience.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
- Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns
- General Bookkeeping duties and preparation of VAT returns for clients
- Regular utilization of cloud-based accounting software
Candidate Attributes:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a UK Accountancy Practice
- Either AAT qualified or studying towards AAT OR ACCA/ACA or qualified
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages
