The role
You'll join an established audit team, working with a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries. You'll gain exposure to larger and more complex assignments while receiving support from experienced Seniors, Managers and Partners. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Carrying out audit fieldwork for a varied portfolio of clients.
- Preparing audit working papers and documenting findings.
- Identifying audit risks and reporting findings to senior colleagues.
- Building relationships with clients and developing an understanding of their businesses.
- Working closely with Audit Seniors and Managers on more complex assignments.
- Supporting junior colleagues as your experience develops.
About you
We're looking for an ambitious Audit Semi Senior with previous experience in a UK accountancy practice who is keen to develop their technical skills and progress their career. Ideally, you'll have:
- At least 12-18 months' experience in external audit.
- Be studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification.
- Experience working on audit assignments within an accountancy practice.
- A good understanding of audit and accounting standards.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to deal directly with clients.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
