We're looking for an experienced Personal Tax Senior to join our established and growing accountancy practice. With a team of around 70 staff across Accounts, Tax, Payroll and Bookkeeping, this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to develop their career within a supportive team environment.
The Role
- Preparing and reviewing Personal Tax Returns for a varied client portfolio
- Managing tax compliance deadlines and ensuring timely HMRC submissions
- Supporting tax planning and advisory work
- Assisting with HMRC enquiries and correspondence
- Researching complex tax issues and providing clear, practical advice
- Building strong client relationships and handling day-to-day queries
- Keeping up to date with changes in UK tax legislation
- Supporting the training and development of other team members
About You
- Recent experience working within a UK accountancy practice
- Strong Personal Tax knowledge and experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and client expectations
- A proactive, organised and client-focused approach
- The ability to work effectively as part of a wider tax team
Due to the hybrid working arrangement, candidates should be reasonably local to the office, with 3 days office-based and 2 days working from home.
