An established UK HR Shared Service Centre is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to take responsibility for the end-to-end monthly payroll for approximately 500 corporate employees.
Joining a team of three, you'll manage your own employee portfolio while having support from colleagues. The role offers hybrid working, flexible start times and full SAP training.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate end-to-end monthly payroll for your allocated employees.
- Process starters, leavers, transfers, pay changes, allowances and maternity leave using SAP.
- Complete payroll checks, reconciliation and payroll close.
- Prepare and verify BACS extracts and complete RTI reporting.
- Answer employee pay queries and liaise with HMRC when required.
- Supply payroll reports and information to Finance, Pensions and other internal teams.
- Keep employee records accurate and contribute to process improvements.
Skills & Experience
You'll currently run payroll within an in-house payroll function and have proven experience of the full payroll cycle.
You'll be organised, accurate and confident taking responsibility for your workload and monthly deadlines.
Strong communication skills, a service-focused approach and a willingness to support colleagues are essential. Previous SAP experience is useful, but full training is available.

- Three office days and two home-working days per week, adjusted around payroll deadlines.
