We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a friendly and sociable finance team based in Crewe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous purchase ledger experience who enjoys a hands-on role.
Working as part of a team of six, you will report directly to the Finance Manager and play an important role in ensuring the purchase ledger function runs smoothly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase ledger invoices
- Inputting and accurately coding invoices
- Matching invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Managing approximately 250 invoices, including more complex items
- Following a predominantly manual purchase ledger process
- Resolving invoice queries and discrepancies
- Supporting the wider finance team as required
About You
- Previous purchase ledger experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence working with a manual invoice-processing environment
- The ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
- A positive and team-focused approach
