Commercial Accountant (Part Qual) in Chorley

Due to new major contract wins, a £200m t/o business with a large number of high-profile clients is seeking to appoint a Commercial Accountant. This is a great role offering real diversity, with a strong emphasis on analytical and ad hoc reporting - this should particularly appeal to a strong communicator who would enjoy the interesting customer facing element to this position.

Specific responsibilities of the role include:

• Overseeing the monthly management reporting and detailed variance analysis and holding monthly meetings with senior stakeholders
• Involvement in business planning, managing the annual budgeting process and regular reforecasting
• Leading project costing activity and ad hoc analytical reporting

This is a "no day the same" type of role which puts you at the heart of what this business does. To be considered for this opportunity you should be newly or nearly qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with strong financial analysis skills coupled with a natural communication style which would suit direct customer interaction. Strong IT skills and the ability to manipulate large volumes of data is essential.
