The Role
Our client, a well-established law firm based in Bootle, is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy Residential Property team.
Working closely with Conveyancers and Fee Earners, you will provide administrative and case management support throughout the residential conveyancing process.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Fee Earners with a caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
- Opening and setting up new client files.
- Preparing legal documents, forms, and correspondence.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors, and other third parties.
- Requesting searches and obtaining title documentation.
- Managing diaries, appointments, and key transaction deadlines.
- Handling client enquiries via telephone and email.
- Assisting with exchange, completion, and post-completion matters.
- Updating and maintaining case management systems.
- Ensuring client files are kept accurate, compliant, and up to date.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role within residential property.
- Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client care skills.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
- Confident IT skills including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
