Adele Carr Recruitment is supporting an organisation who are keen to appoint a newly qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This is not just a reporting role - this is an opportunity to work directly with a highly experienced Finance Director who is passionate about mentoring and developing talent. The successful new appointment will gain exposure across the full finance spectrum - commercial analysis, P&L, statutory accounts, cash flow and leadership - with a clear pathway for career progression as the business grows. What You'll Be Doing
- Ownership of the monthly management accounts process while supporting the FD and senior leadership team with insight and decision-making:
- Core Finance
- Full management accounts production (journals, accruals, prepayments)
- P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting
- Balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations
- Profit centre and KPI reporting
- Variance analysis and commentary
- Commercial / FP&A
- Annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
- Data analysis and insight generation
- Financial modelling
- Performance reporting
- Control mapping and process improvement
- Statutory
- Daily cash management, forecasting
- VAT, PAYE/NIC and Corporation Tax support
- Year-end statutory reporting and audit preparation
Ideal Applicant
- Newly Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA (or Finalist level)
- Strong technical grounding with commercial acumen
- Solid MS Excel skills
