We are recruiting a Financial Reporting Technical Assistant Manager to join a leading UK accounting firm in their Infrastructure division. This internal-facing role is focused on corporate reporting, compliance, and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review annual reports and financial statements to confirm compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, company legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Research, draft, and respond to technical queries on accounting and corporate reporting matters.
  • Provide technical support and advice to partners and staff.
  • Develop and issue internal technical guidance, papers, and training materials.
  • Maintain the firm’s internal technical library and update pro-forma financial statements.
  • Prepare and deliver internal accounting and corporate reporting training sessions.
  • Liaise with internal teams and contribute to divisional technical initiatives.

Person Specification

  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accountancy qualification.
  • At least 1-year post-qualification experience (Assistant Manager level) in audit or a technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, UK listing rules, and UK legislation.
  • Experience reviewing annual reports, financial statements, and developing internal technical materials.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
