With a strong regional presence and a diverse client portfolio, this role offers excellent exposure, responsibility and long-term progression.The Role As Audit Manager, you will take ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, working closely with Senior Managers and Directors. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring audits are delivered to a high technical standard while managing budgets, timelines and team performance.You will also play a key role in developing junior team members, providing day-to-day guidance, feedback and support.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage audit assignments, ensuring delivery to time, budget and quality standardsAct as the main client contact throughout the audit process, responding to queries and maintaining strong relationshipsSupervise, review and develop junior team members on engagementsPrepare and manage audit budgets, monitoring progress and addressing variancesTake responsibility for billing, time recording and engagement profitabilityEnsure compliance with all relevant auditing and accounting standardsPromote a positive, collaborative team cultureLiaise with Directors to ensure alignment with departmental objectivesSupport with administrative and ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth engagement deliverySkills, Knowledge & Experience ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)Strong audit and accounts experience within a professional practice environmentGood understanding of audit quality, compliance and regulatory standardsExperience with risk assessment and audit controlsConfident managing, coaching and developing junior staffUp-to-date knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards (FRS & IFRS)Experience with CCH and Inflo is advantageous, though full training will be providedWhy Apply?
